Object Summary Exploring the physicalities of ageing, vessel 3 tells the unfiltered story of history through the surface of the cloth. This specifically emphasises the beauty in the everyday object, questioning why we struggle to form meaningful, lasting relationships with textiles.
Production Vessel 3 is the 'oldest'; this artefact was left to preserve in salt for 3 weeks, creating dense and glittering crystals that add weight to the surface of the weave. This has resulted in the vessel being flatter in its shape, holding the angle at which it was submerged in the salt solution.
