The Textiles Anthropocene
The Textiles Anthropocene is my final major BA Textile Design project, which explores the future of textiles within the geological age of the Anthropocene. This is a museum guide that was part of the exhibit, which could be accessed via a QR code and is best viewed on mobile.
Derived from the Greek ‘new man’, The Textiles Anthropocene proposes that the relationships we create with materials are no longer meaningful and lasting in the same way they have been historically; what will the long-term effects of this be on the environment, and how will this manifest within a museum setting?
